Christine Hudson is an Associate with Barron & Sweet, LLP with over 20 years of law office experience. Beginning in 1997 Christine worked as a real estate paralegal before expanding her work experience to include domestic relations, estate planning, and civil litigation. From 2006 to 2019, Christine specialized in domestic relations law as a paralegal where she worked full-time and attended law school nights and weekends. Upon become a practicing attorney she has continued her passion for family law, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to the representation of her clients.

Christine’s focus is on assisting clients for what may be the most difficult and stressful periods of their lives. Christine’s goal is to not only assist clients navigating personal and legal challenges, but to ensure that clients are able to work effectively as co-parents or interact meaningfully with family members once litigation has concluded. Christine relies on both her professional and personal skills and experience to provide compassionate and practical legal advice for parties living in the real world.

Currently, Christine holds a seat on the Massachusetts School of Law Alumni Association Board as a Class Representative. She acts as a volunteer judge at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate school levels for the American Moot Court Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Christine has also held the position of Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing & Reasoning at Massachusetts School of Law.

Christine’s son, Kyle, is a pediatric cancer survivor. Over the years, Christine has worked with a number of cancer-related charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society, Why Me & Sherry’s House, Camp Sunshine, Hole In the Wall Gang Camp, and Andrew’s Helpful Hands.

Christine graduated magna cum laude from Massachusetts School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor in June 2017. During her time at the Massachusetts School of Law, Christine represented the law school at the American Association for Justice trial team competitions in 2016 and 2017. Christine also earned 11 awards for excellence for her course work in Family Law, Juvenile Law, Special Education, Education Law, Writing and Legal Reasoning, Ethics, Property Law, Civil Procedure, Creative Marketing, Criminal Procedure, and Motions Practice.

Attorney Hudson’s goal is to assist parties in difficult and stressful situations, with the aim of ensuring they can work together as co-parents after litigation has concluded.
